Northburn is consultant to a farming partnership helping them to turn surplus land into development sites. We promoted one of their sites to the local authority and Scottish Office Reporters, successfully applying to have agricultural land allocated for future residential development.

We then established the site’s value by working with a core design team of architects and engineers, presented a marketing and technical information pack to a short list of developers, led the interview and negotiation process and will oversee the project until full planning permission is secured and the development is completed. Taylor Wimpey was selected as our Development Partner and it is anticipated that the project will deliver around 337 new homes on a phased basis from 2013.
